If you are looking for an authentic Indian side dish or appetizer this is the recipe for you.
 

Ingredients

  • 4 potatoes, boiled, peeled and diced
  • 3 cups finely chopped mint leaves
  • 3 tsp crushed cumin
  • 3 tsp pepper powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tsp oil
 
Method

In a pan or haandi heat oil. Add mint leaves and fry well for 10 minutes. Add cumin, pepper powder and turmeric and fry for a minute. Add potatoes and salt and fry for 3 minutes. Cover for 1 minute and cook. Remove from stove and serve with any Indian bread.
