This simple recipe is a great way to incorporate a new dish into your dinner. Serve these egg rolls with white rice and soy sauce.

  • Servings: 50 egg rolls


1 lb Lean Hamburger or Ground Pork
1 bag Shredded Cabbage & Carrots
½ Bell Pepper, diced
½ Onion, diced
1 Egg, beaten
½ tsp Salt
2 pkgs Lumpia Wrappers


Brown meat in a frying pan. In a large bowl, add meat to cabbage, bell pepper and onion. Add salt and mix in egg.

Separate one wrapper at a time, placing about 2 tablespoons of mixture on each wrapper, folding egg roll up per instructions found on wrapper package. In electric frying pan, add enough shortening to cover bottom when melted. Add egg rolls and turn over when browned on first side. Egg rolls are done when completely brown.
