Apple Sausage Appetizer

This hot appetizer is made with Kielbasa sausage, apples, and onions baked together for an interesting medley of tastes.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs Kielbasa sausage
- 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 35 oz jar chunky apple sauce
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion

Method
Cut sausage into 1/2 inch pieces. Combine sugar, applesauce and onion in a 9 x13 inch baking dish. Mix in sausage pieces, cover top of baking dish with aluminum foil. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
Notes: This is a great combination of flavors-sweet, salty, meaty. Serve with crackers.
