Bacon Roll-Ups

These sandwich bites are easy appetizers. Wrap cream cheese-filled bread roll-ups with bacon and bake.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 8-oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 medium onion, chopped fine
  • 1 medium sweet pepper green pepper, chopped fine
  • Firm-textured thin white bread slices
  • 1 pound sliced bacon

Method

Mix cheese, onion, and pepper together. Trim crusts from bread. Spread cheese mixture on bread slices. Cut bread slices in half. Roll bread up from a short side. Halve bacon slices crosswise. Wrap each bread roll-up with a bacon slice. Bake in a 350 degree F. oven for 1 hour.
