The saltiness of the beef pairs well with the creaminess of the cheese, and the gherkin is a sweet, crunchy surprise in the middle.

  • Servings: 12


2× 2.25 oz jars Dried Beef Slices
8 oz Cream Cheese, plain or onion and chive
24 Sweet Gherkins


On each slice of beef, spread about 2 teaspoons of cream cheese. Place a pickle in the middle of the cream cheese.

Roll up and slice crosswise.

Helpful Tips:

This recipe was given to me over 30 years ago by a dear friend that was having a cocktail party. It's an appetizer that needs no more attention because it is so delicious, and also easy.
