Candied Yam Tarts

Fillo appetizer-size shells are filled with a mixture of mashed yams, sugar, butter and cinnamon, topped with tiny marshmallows and baked.
Ingredients
- 15 oz can of yams, drained
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 Tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 stick (1/4 cup) butter, melted
- 1 pkg fillo shells
- 1 bag miniature marshmallows

Method
Mash yams. Stir in butter, sugar, cinnamon and vanilla. Spoon into shells and top with marshmallows. Bake at 350 just until marshmallows are golden.
Notes: This is a great way to serve candied yams in individual servings. A rich, sweet and delicious treat.
