Chocolate Vodka Strawberries

This adult dessert calls for strawberries to soak in strawberry flavored vodka before they are dipped in creamy chocolate and set.
 

Ingredients

  • Strawberry vodka
  • Strawberries
  • 11 oz pkg chocolate chips
  • 1/2 tsp vegetable oil

Method

Wash berries and dry, then soak in vodka for about 15 minutes. Let dry on a cloth and place in fridge until cold. Place 1/2 of chocolate chips in two microwave safe bowls, add 1/4 teaspoon of vegetable oil to each bowl and melt. Microwave each bowl for 30 seconds, stir, then microwave again for 15 seconds. Stir and repeat, about four times, or until chocolate has melted and is smooth. Coat each berry with chocolate then place on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper. Cool a few minutes before serving.
