Crisp red and green apples make a colorful, healthy appetizer--and taste perfect with this honey and nut cream cheese dip.

2 Granny Smith Apples
2 Red Crisp Apples
8 oz Honey Nut Cream Cheese Spread
2 Tbsp Honey
1 tsp Brandy Extract
2 Tbsp Apple Brandy
1 cup Chopped Salted Peanuts
1 cup Orange Juice


Combine cream cheese, honey, vanilla and most of the peanuts, saving a few for garnish. Cover dip and chill until serving time. Wash, core and slice apples, but do not peel. Use 2 resealable bags, one for the red apples, one for the green. Place 1/2 cup orange juice in each bag, then shake to coat the apples well. Drain apples well on a wire rack. Put the dip in a pretty glass bowl, arrange the apples around the dip, alternating red and green slices.

Helpful Tips:

This is unexpected treat for the holidays, when so many things are so heavy including the appetizers. The colors are Christmas and it's so crisp and crunchy, a lighter refreshing fruit with a nice light dip.
