Clam Dip

Cream cheese (plain and chive) is combined with mayonnaise, canned minced clams, and garlic, and thinned with evaporated milk for this dip.
 

Ingredients

  • 2 small pkgs (3 oz each) cream cheese with chives
  • 2 lg pkg (8 oz each) cream cheese (plain)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 small (6 1/2 or 8 oz each) cans minced clams, drained
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 small cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • Tortilla chips or crackers
 
Method

Soften cream cheeses. Stir in mayonnaise. Beat all ingredients very well in a large bowl with an electric mixer. Serve with dippers.

 

Notes: Serve with tortilla chips or crackers.
