Cream Cheese Raspberry Cinnamon Rolls

This delicious treat is a pastry packed with fresh raspberries, cream cheese and raspberry jam.

  • Servings: 6

Ingredients:

1 5 Count Pkg
17.5 oz Cream Cheese Cinnamon Rolls
¼ cup Seedless Red Raspberry Jam
4 oz Cream Cheese
3 oz Fresh Raspberries
⅓ cup Pecan Pieces
1 tsp Egg White
2½ tsp Packed Brown Sugar
½ tsp Vanilla
3 oz White Chocolate
½ tsp Lemon Juice

Directions:

First, candy the pecans. Preheat oven to 275 degrees. Beat egg white until stiff. Add brown sugar and vanilla. Coat pecan pieces and lay out on a wax papered cookie sheet. Bake until browned, 10-15 minutes. Set aside to cool. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Take cinnamon rolls out of package and unroll them from seams until they lay flat. Set aside and mix together cream cheese and raspberry jam at a medium speed until well blended. Spread cream cheese and jelly mixture onto unrolled cinnamon rolls. Then, sprinkle raspberries on top of cream cheese mixture. Roll cinnamon rolls back up into one long roll. Cut rolls into 5 equal pieces along seams and lay vertically into a lightly greased pie pan. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. Uncover and continue baking for an additional 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. While cinnamon rolls are baking, mix icing from package with lemon juice. Melt white chocolate and mix in with frosting. As soon as cinnamon rolls come out of the oven, frost with icing and sprinkle with candied pecans.
