Ingredients:
| 1 cup | Dried Cherries |
| ΒΌ cup | Semi-sweet White Wine |
| 16 oz | Cream Cheese, softened |
| 1 cup | Blue Cheese Crumbles |
| 1 Tbsp | Red Sweet Pepper, finely diced |
| 1 Tbsp | Green Pepper, finely diced |
| 1 Tbsp | Onion, finely diced |
| 2 tsp | Hot Sauce |
| 1 tsp | Freshly Ground Black Pepper |
| 1 cup | Toasted Pecans, finely diced |
| Crackers or Pita Chips |
Directions:
In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, cook cherries and wine for 10 minutes; drain and let cool. In large bowl, combine cream cheese, blue cheese, peppers, onion, hot sauce, and black pepper; mix well. Add cherries. Form mixture into a ball; chill for 1 hour. Roll ball in toasted pecans. Serve with crackers or pita chips.
Helpful Tips:
This is delicious and when you cut into it, how festive it looks. You could use any of your favorite dried fruit. I also do this with dried cranberries and add orange zest to the mixture.
