Creamy Seafood Salad

Serve with crackers or for a decorative touch, hollow out a loaf of Hawaiian bread and spoon the seafood salad into it.
 

Ingredients

  • 2 pkgs small salad shrimp
  • 1 cup diced green onions (only the green parts)
  • 4 pkgs flaked imitation crab meat
  • 1 small can cream of celery soup
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Creole seasoning
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp prepared ranch dressing

Method

Melt butter in saucepan. Add shrimp, green onion and Creole seasoning. Cook until almost all liquid has dissolved. Add cream of celery soup. Stir constantly over low heat for five minutes. Pour into bowl and let cool. When cool, add crab meat, salt, pepper, mayonnaise and Ranch dressing. Stir until well blended. Refrigerate overnight.
