This warm cheese dip with chili peppers, cumin, and picante sauce is always a favorite. Need to bring an appetizer to a friends for a party? This is the one. Always a crowd pleaser.
In a large saucepan, cook onion in butter about 5 min or until tender. Stir in chili, undrained tomatoes and green chili peppers, undrained chili peppers, picante sauce, and cumin. add cheeses. Stir over medium-low heat until cheeese are melted. (If desired, tranfer mixture to a 3-1/2 to 4-quart electric crockery cooker and keep warm on the low setting.) Serve with tortilla chips or large corn chips.
