Dill Garlic Dip

This versatile dip can be used for a vegetable dip or as a base for a seafood salad. Fat-free sour cream and light mayonnaise keep it on the healthy side.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup fat-free sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise (low-fat if preferred)
  • 1 tablespoon dry dill weed
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 2 teaspoons dry chopped chives

Method

Mix all ingredients together and refrigerate overnight for flavors to blend. Serve with fresh veggies and/or crackers.

Notes: Can also be used as a binder for seafood, such as for lobster or crab rolls simply by adding 2 teaspoons of Old Bay seasoning to the above, and blending with seafood to taste.

Number of servings: Makes 1 cup
