Egg Rolls

You may use either ground beef or chicken, along with cole slaw mix, soy sauce and spices to make these deep fried Asian appetizers.

1 lb Ground Beef or Ground Raw Chicken, cooked and drained
1 pkg Cole Slaw Mix
2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
½ tsp Garlic Powder
¼ tsp Ground Ginger
Onion Powder, to taste
40 Egg Roll Wrappers
1 Tbsp Flour
Vegetable Oil, for deep fat frying


Combine first 6 ingredients. Place about one tablespoon of mixture in each wrapper and fold. Combine flour and a little water to make a paste. Moisten top corner of wrapper and roll up to seal.

In an electric skillet, heat oil to 375 degrees; fry egg rolls 3-5 minutes or until golden brown.

Helpful Tips:

Fill wrappers one at a time; keep others covered until ready to use, to prevent drying out.
