Egyptian Hummus Grilled Cheese

This vegetarian sandwich gets its protein from the hummus. The tasty feta, roasted red pepper, and olives add great flavor.

  • Servings: 1

Ingredients:

2 slices Sturdy White Bread
1 Tbsp Butter, softened
2 Tbsp Hummus
1 oz Feta Cheese
1 Tbsp sliced Olives
4 slices Roasted Red Pepper

Directions:

Heat a skillet over medium heat. Spread butter on one side of each piece of bread. On other side of bread, spread hummus, crumble cheese over hummus, and arrange olives and pepper slices evenly over other ingredients. Top with remaining bread slice buttered side up. Toast in skillet about 3 minutes on each side until golden and heated through.
