Evelyn's Pumpkin Dip

Cream cheese is beaten with powdered sugar, canned pumpkin, cinnamon, ginger and vanilla, and used as a dip with gingersnaps.
 

Ingredients

  • 2 pkgs. (8-oz. each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 box (1 pound) powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1 can (15 oz.) pumpkin
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method

Beat together the cream cheese and powdered sugar. Add the pumpkin, spices, and vanilla. Mix and spoon into a dip dish, set in small pumpkin shells if desired. Enjoy this with gingersnaps for dipping.

 

Notes: You may use 3 teaspoons of apple pie spice instead of the cinnamon and ginger.
