- Servings: 8-10
Ingredients:
| 1 | Baguette, cut in half lengthwise |
| 4 Tbsp | Canola Oil |
| Salt & Pepper, to taste | |
| ¾ cup | Mascarpone Cheese, softened |
| ¾ cup | Chopped Dried Figs |
| ¼ lb | Shaved Prosciutto |
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cut baguette in half lengthwise into 2 planks and place on a baking sheet. Brush some oil on each plank of bread and season with salt and pepper. Bake until nice and golden, 5-7 minutes, watching carefully. After the bread is crispy and golden, spread half of the mascarpone cheese on each slice. Top each plank with half of the chopped, dried figs, then top that with the slices of prosciutto. With a serrated bread knife, cut the planks into smaller pieces and serve on a platter as an appetizer.
