Fresh Chunky Salsa

This salsa combines spicy canned and fresh tomatoes with onion and garlic. Serve with tortilla chips for dipping.
Ingredients
- 1 10-ounce can diced tomatoes with jalapeno peppers, drained
- 1 large ripe tomato, diced
- 1 bunch green onions, diced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- dash salt
- 1 Tbsp. lime juice

Method
Stir together all ingredients. Cover and chill overnight.
Notes: My mom was experimenting with making different salsas; this is what she came up with. Fast, easy and yummy! I use this recipe as a dip for my halibut poppers. After I combine everything, I puree it in the blender. It is best if you let in sit refrigerated overnight. Enjoy! This is fast and easy to make ahead of time. And always a hit!
