Easy, beautiful, and delicious appetizer.

  • Prep Time: 10 minutes
  • Cook Time: 10 minutes
  • Total Time: 20 minutes

20 Fresh Figs, black, green or brown
20 slices Parmigiano-reggiano Cheese
½ cup Balsamic Vinegar

Set oven to broil. Cut the figs in half, but not all the way through. Place the slice of Parmigiano-Reggiano in the middle. Place under broiler for 3-4 minutes or until cheese is browned.

While figs are broiling, place the balsamic vinegar in a small pan and simmer over medium-high heat until reduced by half - about 3 minutes.

Remove stuffed figs from the oven and drizzle with the balsamic glaze.

Helpful Tips:

Beautiful, fresh and elegant. Perfect for sharing with friends and family. There is just something magical about the pairing of figs and balsamic vinegar. The sweet, syrupy richness of the vinegar cutting through the sweetness of the fig is unparalleled.
