Green Chili, Meat and Potato Stew

A spicy spin on your stew recipe.
Ingredients
- 1 lb hamburger
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 medium sliced onion
- Container of frozen green chili 11 or 14oz
- Two-three containers of water
- 4 medium potatoes bite size
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp coriander
- White flour tortillas

Method
Brown hamburger in skillet, drain and add sliced onion, salt and pepper, Italian seasoning and coriander. Stir until onion is soft. Pour mixture into stew pot, sprinkle with flour and stir, coating meat mixture. Pour in green chili and stir. Add water and stir. Cover. Cook on low heat for approximately 2 hours, stirring often so it won't stick to bottom of pan. Add potatoes, stir, and cover on low until potatoes are done. Serve with tortillas.
Notes: Set the frozen green chili out early so it is defrosted when ready to use; much easier to use this way. You can also replace hamburger with left over roast. The reason for Italian seasoning is that it has a lot of the spices you need for the stew.
