Grilled Figs with Gorgonzola

A grilled fig is a delicious, savory and sweet treat that will impress guests and favorably accompany any simply grilled meat or seafood dish.
Ingredients
- 4 fresh ripe figs, cut in half
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Sea salt
- Fresh ground pepper
- 4 oz Gorgonzola cheese

Method
Place figs in a bowl with oil, salt and pepper. Stir to coat with oil. Over medium grill heat, place figs cut side down. Grill until brown, 3-4 minutes. Gently remove figs with tongs and place cut side up on a platter. Sprinkle with Gorgonzola while hot. Serve warm or at room temperature.
