Grilled Lemon-Pepper Shrimp Packets

These lemony, buttery grilled shrimp make great appetizers. If it's too cold to grill, bake the packets in a 375 degree oven (be sure to place a pan underneath the packets to catch any drips).

Ingredients:

  • 40 large shelled and deveined shrimp
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning

Method

Pat shrimp dry and place in large bowl. In a small bowl stir remaining ingredients together. Pour over shrimp and toss to coat evenly. Cover and chill one hour. Place 5 shrimp on centers of eight pieces of heavy-duty foil. Divide liquid over shrimp. Fold foil over and seal edges well. Grill over hot coals or on gas grill for 6 to 8 minutes. Turn packets over and grill an additional 6 to 8 minutes until shrimp are done. Drain liquid from packets. Serve immediately.

Notes: These are great as a main course or they make the perfect appetizer for an outdoor barbecue.

Number of servings: 8 main-dish
