Happy Hour Mushroom Appetizer

These mushrooms are filled with a mixture of butter, garlic, cheese, wine, onion dip mix, corn chips and soy sauce. Just fill and bake.
 

Ingredients

  • 36 white, medium size mushrooms
  • 3 T. melted butter
  • 1 stick butter, softened
  • 1 T. finely minced garlic
  • 2/3 colby-Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • 2 T. red wine
  • 1 pkg. toasted onion dip mix
  • 1/3 c. corn chips, finely crushed
  • 2 T. soy sauce

Method

Remove stems from mushrooms. Wash caps and brush with melted butter. Combine softened butter, garlic and cheese; mix well. Add wine, dip mix, crushed corn chips, and soy sauce to make a paste. Fill mushroom caps with mixture. Place on baking sheet & broil until bubbly & lightly browned.

 

Notes: Easy and quick appetizer. Simply delicious. Takes 3-5 minutes to make.
