Ingredients:
| 1× 8-oz pkg | Cream Cheese, softened |
| 1 Tbsp | Dried Italian Seasoning |
| 1 cup | Shredded Mozzarella Cheese |
| 1 cup | Grated Parmesan Cheese |
| 2 Tbsp | Olive Oil |
| ½ | Medium Red Bell Pepper, chopped |
| 1 tsp | Finely Minced Garlic |
| ¼ cup | Diced Sweet Onion |
| 1 cup | Pizza Sauce |
| 4 oz | Pepperoni Sausage, chopped |
| ½ cup sliced | Black Olives |
| 2× 8-oz | Baguettes, sliced and toasted |
Directions:
In a small bowl, mix together cream cheese and Italian seasoning. Spread mixture in a 9-inch pie plate or a shallow microwave-safe dish. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of the mozzarella cheese and 1/2 cup of the Parmesan cheese on top of cream cheese mixture. Heat olive oil over medium-high heat in a medium skillet, then saute the red pepper, garlic and onion until tender, 5-10 minutes. Spoon over cheese mixture in baking dish, then top with pizza sauce. Sprinkle with remaining cheese, then top with pepperoni and olive slices. Cover and microwave on medium setting until heated through. Serve with toasted baguette slices for dipping.
Helpful Tips:
Whenever I have an informal get-together at my house, this dip makes an appearance. I usually make more than one batch, because it goes so fast. It's like pizza, only in bite-size servings.
