Cheer on your favorite sports team while enjoying these delightful chicken wings and drummettes. Score!

½ cup Soy Sauce
1 cup Pineapple Juice
1 Medium Onion, chopped
1 clove Garlic, mashed
2 tsp Ground Ginger
½ cup Packed Brown Sugar
1 cup Beer
36 Chicken Wings & Drummettes
¼ cup Butter


In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, pineapple juice, onion, garlic, ginger, brown sugar and beer; stir until sugar is dissolved. Place chicken pieces in a large pan and pour the marinade over all, making sure to coat all pieces well. Cover and let marinate at least 1 hour at room temperature, or longer in the refrigerator, but overnight is best. When ready to cook, drain off marinade and reserve. Heat butter over medium heat in a large skillet. Add chicken pieces and brown on all sides. Add 1/2 cup of reserved marinade to pan; reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally during cooking, adding more marinade if necessary to keep chicken pieces moist. Serve hot.
