Marinaded Shrimp revised

This shrimp recipe is great as an appetizer at a larger gathering. Wine, celery seeds, and Worcestershire add flavor to the marinade.
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 lbs cooked, peeled and deveined large shrimp.
- 1 large sweet onion thinly sliced
- Marinade ingredients:
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 1/2 cups Salad Oil
- 1 4-oz bottle capers (undrained)
- 3/4 cup white vinegar
- 2 1/2 teaspoons celery seeds
- 1 tablespoon Worchestershire sauce
- 1 or 2 dashes bottled hot pepper sauce
- Salt and Pepper to tase
- 1/4 Cup Sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 cup dry white wine

Method
Layer shrimp and sliced onion in large bowl. Combine marinade ingredients. Pour marinade over layered shrimp and onion and refrigerate overnight. Drain before serving.
Notes: The marinade and onion go well together to compliment the taste of the shrimp. The longer it marinades the better it is. Serve and get ready for a real treat.
