Mexican Mama Salsa

Tomatoes, tomato juice, lemon juice, garlic & jalapeno peppers are combined in the blender. Diced tomatoes and cilantro are stirred in afterward.
 

Ingredients

  • 4 large ripe tomatoes
  • 10 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 large jalapenos
  • 1 bunch cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, finely diced
  • Chips

Method

Blend together all ingredients except diced tomatoes and cilantro. Stir in the diced tomatoes and cilantro after blending. Cover and chill. Place salsa in serving bowl and serve with chips.

 

Notes: This Mad Mexican Mama Salsa would go excellent with Jacqui's Kicking Tortilla Chips. It's also a great marinade, or serve it as a munchie for hungry relatives before the huge Easter dinner.
