Mexican Bean Dip


For a fun dish, serve this Mexican dip over a platter of tortilla chips. Or for an appetizer, keep the chips and dip separate and let everyone dunk their own.



Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs ground beef  
  • 1 bottle taco sauce  
  • 2 cans refried beans  
  • 1 can tomatoes with juice  
  • 3/4 cups cheese

Method

Fry beef until almost done. Drain. In medium large pan, add taco sauce, beans, tomatoes & 1/2 cup cheese. Cook over medium heat until cheese melts (approx 30-45 minutes - do not let bubble too much). Remove from heat - sprinkle with the rest of the cheese. Can serve over Fritos tortilla chips, or use as dip.
