Olive Feta Spread

Finely chopped and drained black olives are combined with crumbled feta cheese, garlic, basil, and just enough olive oil to bind. The mixture is served as a spread with toasted slices of baguette.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 can Black Olives
  • 1/2 cup crumbled Feta Cheese
  • 4 cloves fresh Garlic, minced
  • 3 sprigs of fresh Basil, chopped
  • 3 Tbs Olive Oil
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
 
Method

Drain olives; chop till very fine. In a bowl combine the chopped olives, crumbled feta, minced garlic and basil. Stir together, adding the olive oil to bind. Season with salt and pepper. Serve to spread on top of sliced, toasted baguette bread.

 

Notes: Serve at room temperature to enhance flavors.
