Onion and Gorgonzola Cheese Ball

This cheese ball is loaded with the pungent flavors of gorgonzola cheese, carmelized onions and cranberry.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 package softened cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup crumbled gorganzola cheese
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • Crackers

Method

In a small pan heat olive oil over low-medium heat. Add onions and cook 5-8 minutes or until soft and lightly browned and carmelized. Cool onions completely. In a bowl combine softened cream cheese, gorgonzola cheese, cranberries, and onions. Mold into ball and chill overnight. Serve with crackers.

 

Notes: Refrigerating overnight is key to this tasty and elegant cheese ball.
