These warm appetizers have a pizza flavor. They're made with refrigerated bread dough, topped with cheese and pepperoni, then rolled up into a long loaf. After baking the loaf is sliced and served.

Ingredients

  • 1 roll refrigerated pizza dough
  • Flour
  • 3/4 lb. sliced provolone cheese
  • 1/2 lb. thinly sliced pepperoni
  • 1 beaten egg

Method

Roll pizza dough into a rectangle, approximately 10x15," on lightly floured surface. Cover dough with provolone, then with pepperoni. Carefully roll up bread (from the long side), seal edge and ends, and place in baking pan. Brush bread roll with beaten egg. Bake in 350 degree oven about 25 minutes or until golden brown. Let sit 10-15 minutes, then slice thinly to serve.
