Crescent rolls filled with ham, bacon and onion make a hearty appetizer.

  • Servings: 12-14

½ Fully Cooked Smoked Ham
Mccormick Seasoning Salt
1 lb Bacon
1-1½ Large Vidalia Onions, coarsely chopped
Crescent Rolls
Egg Whites

Chop ham into small pieces. Place ham into a big bowl and reserve. While bacon is still frozen, chop into medium to small pieces. Fry bacon in a large saucepan. When bacon is 3/4 cooked, add onions. Cover and let cook until onions are soft and bacon is cooked, stirring occasionally. When bacon is cooked, and onions are soft, add ham. Continue to cook on medium heat until ham is warm. Sprinkle McCormick seasoning salt over mixture. Take pan off heat. Preheat oven to temperature shown on crescent roll package. Open the crescent rolls and place a tablespoon of mixture into crescent. Roll crescent, folding edges. Brush tops with egg white and place in oven until golden brown.
