"Pig Slop"


Fresh fruit, yogurt and granola cereal are layered in a cup--just like pig slop. A fun treat for breakfast or a healthy snack.



Ingredients:

  • 1/8 cup fresh fruit such as berries, sliced strawberries, etc.
  • 1/8 cup low fat or regular yogurt, flavor of your choice
  • 1/8 cup low fat granola cereal
  • 1 8 oz clear plastic cup

Method

Layer different ingredients in cup. First start with fruit, next add yogurt and last add granola cereal. Keep repeating layers until you've reached the top. Then can top off your pig slop with granola cereal. Remember the thinner the layers the more ingredients you can fit in your cup.

Notes: I do this fun activity with my kids especially, when we are learning about farm animals. The kids love it, it is fun to make and so yummy to eat.
