Pineapple Cheese Ball

Stir crushed pineapple, green onion, sweet pepper and seasoned salt into cream cheese for an easy cheese spread. For extra flavor, toast the nuts before coating the cheese ball.
Ingredients
- 2 8-oz. pkgs. cream cheese, softened
- 2 T. finely diced green onion
- 1/4 c. finely diced green sweet pepper
- 1 tsp. seasoned salt
- 1 8.5-oz. can Crushed Pineapple, drained
- 1 cup chopped pecans

Method
In a large bowl beat cream cheese with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth. Stir in green onion, green pepper, seasoned salt, and crushed pineapple. Shape into ball and roll in chopped pecans. Refrigerate until ready to use. Garnish with fresh parsley sprigs, pineapple slices, and maraschino cherries.
Notes: Halve the ingredients for smaller gatherings.
