
These appetizers are made with refrigerated crescent roll dough. The rectangles of dough are layered with pepperoni slices and shredded mozzarella, sliced into "pinwheels" and baked. They're served with pizza sauce for dipping.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Separate roll dough into 4 rectangles, pinching seams to seal. On a large baking sheet, layer each dough rectangle with pepperoni and mozzarella cheese. Roll up tightly lengthwise and slice each into 4 or 5 pinwheels. Bake cut side down, in the preheated oven about 12 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with pizza sauce for dipping.
