Refrigerated biscuits are rolled thin, filled with a cooked ground beef & cabbage mixture, then sealed shut and baked.

  • Servings: 15

3 cans Large Refrigerated Biscuits, 5 biscuits per can
1 lb Ground Beef
1 cup Chopped Onion
6 cups Shredded Cabbage
1 tsp Each Salt & Pepper, or to taste
½ tsp Celery Salt
¼ cup Butter, melted

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown hamburger; drain off grease. Add onion, cabbage, salt, pepper and celery salt. Simmer for 30 minutes until cabbage and onions are soft. Set aside to cool.

After mixture has cooled, take a biscuit and flatten out into a large circle. Add cabbage mixture and bring up edges; moisten and pinch. Continue with each biscuit. Place biscuits, pinched side down, on a cookie sheet sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Brush with melted butter and serve.
