Roasting your Brussels sprouts will give them a whole different flavor that is hard to ignore. Spice up dinner tonight and introduce a new vegetable.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Trim off bottom and outer leaves of each sprout. Cut in half or quarters, depending on the size of sprout. Spread pieces on rimmed cookie sheet or jelly roll pan. Drizzle with olive oil and mix to ensure even coverage. Season with garlic salt to taste. Roast about 20 minutes, stirring halfway through. Some pieces or leaves will be crispy.
