Sassy Chicken Nuggets

Breaded and fried chicken nuggets made with corn flakes that will surely be a hit.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups crushed corn flakes
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • A dash of garlic powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 cups whole milk
  • 2 - 3 chicken breasts
  • 4 - 6 cups peanut oil
 
Method

Cut breast meat into small chunks (smaller than you want them, as they will enlarge noticeably when they cook). Mix eggs and milk; place chicken in a baking pan and cover with the egg/milk mixture. Let stand in refrigerator for 2 hours. In a food processor or blender, thoroughly mix dry ingredients until fine. Begin heating peanut oil to medium heat. Roll chicken nuggets in breading; let stand on a plate or wax paper for one minute, dip in the egg/milk mixture and roll in breading again. Fry nuggets in fully heated peanut oil for 3-5 minutes or until thoroughly cooked and breading is a nice golden brown.

 

Notes: If done properly, will produce chicken so good that, were you to place a plate of it on your head, your tongue would beat your brains out in an effort to reach it.
