Sausage Cheese Bites

Make these sausage cheese bites for your next party - they're a great appetizer or snack. You can even make them ahead of time, freeze them, and reheat when your guests arrive.
Ingredients
- 1 lb mild pork sausage
- 4 cups buttermilk bisquick mix
- 2 cups (8 ox) shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup water

Method
In a skillet, cook and crumble sausage. Drain. In a large bowl, combine bisquick mix and cheese. Add sausage and stir until well blended. Stir in water until just blended. Shape into 1 1/2 inch balls. Place on greased baking sheets. Bake at 375F for about 15 minutes. Can be frozen - reheat at 375F for 6-8 minutes
