Smoky Cheese Ball

Everyone loves a cheese ball, this one is flavored with a bean and bacon soup.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 can condensed bean with bacon soup, undiluted
  • 2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 pkg (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 3 green onions, finely chopped tops included
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire
  • 1 tbsp fresh basil leaves, finely chopped (or 1 tsp crushed and dried)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Tabasco (or to taste)
  • 1 tsp Liquid Smoke flavoring
  • 1/2 cup toasted pecan pieces, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup parsley, finely chopped

Method

Combine all ingredients except parsley, mixing well. Shape into a ball and chill for 2 to 3 hours. Roll in chopped parsley and serve with crackers.
