Sour Cream-Chick Pea Dip

This appetizer mixture of mashed chick peas (or garbanzo beans) with sour cream and barbecue sauce, may be used as a dip or as a stuffing for mushroom caps.
Ingredients
- 1/2 can chick peas (garbanzo beans)
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp. Hickory BBQ Sauce
- 3 drops Tabasco Sauce
- Dash of Salt
- Dash of Garlic Salt
- Cooked bacon pieces (optional)
- Crumbled cooked sausage (optional)

Method
Crush chick peas. Fold in sour cream. Add BBQ Sauce, Tabasco sauce, salt and garlic salt. Bacon bits or pieces of sausage may be stirred in, if desired. Serve as a dip for slice vegetables or with crackers.
Notes: You may also use this mixture to stuff mushroom caps. Sprinkle with shredded cheese and bake until cheese melts.dip
Number of Servings: Makes 1 cup or 8 medium mushroom stuffed appetizers.
