These great meatballs have pineapple in the sauce and ginger in the meatballs for a truly Asian flavor.

  • Servings: 4-6


1 lb Ground Beef
1 lb Ground Pork
⅓ cup Finely Chopped Water Chestnuts
¼ cup Finely Chopped Green Pepper
4 Green Onions, chopped
½ tsp Salt
2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
2 Tbsp Pineapple Juice
¼ tsp Ground, ginger
¼ tsp Red Pepper
1 Tbsp Beef Bouillon or 2 Cubes
¼ cup Packed Brown Sugar
2 Tbsp Vinegar
1 can Chunk Pineapple
2 Tbsp Cornstarch
1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
½ cup Water


Mix meatballs and form into 1 inch meatballs. Bake in oven until brown, then drain juices. Combine bouillon, brown sugar, cornstarch, soy sauce, vinegar and water. Stir in pineapple juice and cook over low heat until thick and bubbly. Add pineapple and pour over meatballs. Serve warm with toothpicks.
