Spicy Layered Taco Dip

The addition of fresh jalapeno peppers really adds a kick to this tasty traditional dip.

  • Servings: 20-30

Ingredients:

1× 8 oz Tub Sour Cream
1× 1 oz pkg Original Taco Seasoning
1× 20.5 oz can Refried Beans
2× 8 oz bags Shredded Taco Cheese
1 head Iceberg Lettuce, shredded
4 Tomatoes, diced
1× 10 oz jar Sliced Green Olives, drained
2 Whole Jalapeno Peppers, finely diced
1 bunch Green Onions, sliced
1 bunch Cilantro, shredded

Directions:

On a 9 or 10 inch round platter, spread refried beans in a thin layer. Mix sour cream with taco seasoning, until thoroughly combined, then place in refrigerator. Spread sour cream mixture in an even layer over refried beans. Top sour cream mixture with shredded lettuce and cilantro, then the cheese, tomatoes and remaining toppings. Refrigerate dip until ready to serve. Serve with your favorite tortilla chips.
