Spicy Queso

Sausage, Velveeta and condensed soup combine for this dip. Use "hot" green chilies for the spicy queso, mild ones for a tamer version, or some of both.
Ingredients
- 1 box Velveeta cheese block, cut into 1" cubes
- 1 lb. bulk sausage
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 cup chopped (hot) green chilies
- Pepper, to taste
- 1 bag tortilla chips

Method
In large saucepan, brown sausage until done. Drain. Add Velveeta, cream of mushroom soup, and milk. Cook until completely melted and well combined, and then add green chilies. To serve, put into a crock pot to keep warm. Make-Ahead Hint: Cook and drain the sausage, then toss all ingredients into a crock pot on low for 3 hours; mix to combine.
