|Large White Mushrooms|
|Cream Cheese, softened|
|White Onion, finely chopped|
Wash mushrooms; and remove stems. Saute' mushrooms in olive oil and garlic until softened. Remove from pan and place upside down on paper towels to drain. Mix softened cream cheese with chopped chives and onion.
Place mushrooms on foil-lined cookie sheet. Fill mushrooms with cream cheese mixture. Place a piece of cooked bacon about the size of the mushroom on top of the cream cheese, then place a slice of mozzarella cheese over the bacon. Place 4- to 6" from broiler until cheese has melted and is a light brown. Serve immediately.
Caution! Filling will be hot.
