Basil, olives and pickles add a little something to this potato salad along with the delicious dressing that it is served with.
Clean and boil whole potatoes in sauce pan until tender, but not falling apart. Meanwhile in small bowl prepare salad dressing mixture with the egg yolks and blend well with seasonings. In large bowl cut potatoes into medium thick slices. Add sliced egg whites. Add the rest of the ingredients and stir well. Refrigerate until served.
Dressing:
In a bowl mix pickle juice, sour cream, and salad dressing. Add a few dashes of onion powder, sweet basil, celery seed, pepper and paprika. Add all of the egg yolks and blend the mixture well until creamy. Add a couple of tablespoons of milk, to desired creamy consistency. Pour well blended mixture over potato salad.
Serve Chilled
