
This salsa uses freshly ground black pepper, jalapenos, tomatoes, green onion and cilantro, plus lime juice and garlic.
Remove seeds from the tomatoes by cutting tomatoes in half and gently squeezing out the seeds. Chop tomatoes into 1/2-inch dice. In a large bowl, combine the tomatoes, green onions, peppers, cilantro, garlic, lime juice, pepper and salt to taste. Refrigerate for several hours to merge the flavors before serving (if you can wait that long).
Notes:
To lower the heat on the recipe, you may remove the seeds and membrane from the jalapeno before dicing.
