Tasty Low-fat Seafood Dip


Mayonnaise and cream cheese are combined with shrimp, crabmeat and celery and flavored with onion, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce.



Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup light (or regular) mayonnaise
  • 8 ounce pkg. light (or regular) cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 shakes of Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 to 6 ounces of cooked shrimp, chopped
  • 1 can of crabmeat, drained
  • Crackers

Method

Blend first two ingredients. Mix in next 4 ingredients. Add shrimp and crab. Cover & chill up to 24 hours. Serve with crackers.

Notes: This recipe works well with canned shrimp, too. It also can be made with real mayonnaise and real cream cheese, but the taste difference is negligible, so why take in the extra calories and fat?
