Turkey-Avocado Spread

Cooked turkey is whirled in a food processor, then combined with onion, avocado, mayo, and salsa to make this spread for baguette slices.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup cubed, cooked turkey
  • 1 medium red onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp salsa
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise, or to taste
  • 1 avocado, seeded and cut up
  • Pinch Accent (optional)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 2 baguettes, cut into 1-inch thick slices
 
Method

Place turkey in a food processor. Process to a fine crumble, then place in a bowl. Process red onion, salsa, mayonnaise and avocado; add to bowl and blend with turkey. If too moist, add more turkey. Add Accent, if using, and season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve on slices of baguette.
